Heather Hart has been intrigued with black and white photography since childhood. She has traveled Europe extensively and lived in France in her early twenties. Through her educational and life experiences, her distinct vision was created. Currently, she has been focusing on natural environment photography, specifically beach shoots. at sunset. Her emphasis is always to reveal beauty and has captured the wonder of pregnant women in an artistic and sensual view. Because of Heather's distinct vision, A La Mode Photo has been featured on "Good Morning America" (WATCH VIDEO) twice as one of the premiere pregnancy photographers in the nation. Most recently, Heather was featured on "CBS The Early Show" (WATCH VIDEO) with Kate Smith in a 4 part series entitled "The New Faces of Motherhood. She has also been featured on the "Dr. Phil Show" for her stunning pregnancy photography. A La Mode Photo has been featured on the cover of The Wet Set Gazette. More exciting things follow including teaming up with LAPregnancy.com, a 'hip' pregnancy resource for pregnant women and new mothers. Heather's preference for black and white photography emphasizes her commitment to fine art photography. She has also recently started using a beautiful low contrast color film and is receiving much acclaim. In addition to her innate sense of style and boundless creativity, Heather brings a wide range of interests to her photography. Heather is based in Santa Monica and has clients travel for shoots from around the country to meet her vision. She now shoots on a regular basis in San Francisco and Orange County so that all Californians, north and south, can experience her great energy! She is also known to travel the country, especially to meet infants not able to travel and "Bellies" on bed rest. She has been commissioned for book cover portraiture and is always open to exciting new projects! Heather participated in the Baby Celebration L.A. Expo in April 2007 held at the L.A. Convention Center where she was inundated with Bellies needing photography! Heather was the exclusive photographer of the Maternity Fashion Show and her designs that she created for her clients were proudly worn by Belly models walking down the runway.
