Today we’d like to introduce you to Heather Hart.

Hi Heather, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Most of my photography is outdoors, and I started off with a vision of how to use the natural world to make people look amazing! It was really an organic process, and there have been twists and turns, but it always comes back to the image. I need to feel connected to my photography and I have to believe I am creating art that people will have in their lives forever. I still touch up each image before I let my clients see them. It would simple to hit a button and run all of them together, but there is no one setting that will really address all images. You have to look at each one. The one thing I would want people to know is that when I am your photographer, I am here to create memories for a lifetime. The story of my story is that MY STORY IS YOUR STORY.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Any business has ups and downs, and I certainly have had to adapt. But it is really important to stay true to your vision and your art. No business will succeed without being flexible, but there is a difference between flexibility and compromise.

I created the brand of Maternity Photography almost 20 years ago so I was let’s say the “trendsetter.” Then I started shooting their newborns and the family over so many years.

Forward motion and following my passion is the key to my success. If you believe in what you do, it’s never work! I love creating memories for my clients. One must evolve to grow and succeed which is the most important as an artist! I just love how I keep creating new looks and new images for my clients.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am Los Angeles’ premiere maternity and newborn photographer! Of course, I also shoot families, surprise proposals, weddings, headshots, and portraits. Most importantly, I create memories of a lifetime. People contact me because they connect with my images and want me to document their life too!

Most proud of? The connection to my clients who keep returning with more requests as they grow their family and want to celebrate their lives with more A La Mode Photo beautiful images!

What sets me apart from the others? My love for beautiful images. I retouch each individual image – no batching, no outsourcing. That’s what truly defines who I am – I care about my clients and their images.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
I care about my clients! I work tirelessly on each image before I reveal a collection so that everything is perfect! The perfectionist in me – the sense of love and connection that I have with my clients. – the passion for beautiful images – these are the reasons that I have a thriving business.
